Dymech provided CFB Trenton with 3 Hercules engine test stands through a contract from the Department of National Defence. The original design of the stand was adapted by Dymech designers to improve performance and reduce loading on particular components.

The first stand was manufactured according to the original design, and subsequent stands were fabricated according to the new Dymech design. Testing confirmed that the improvements in the new design were worth the small additional cost. After testing the stands, the original unit was modified to match the new design.
