As part of a Heavy Logistics Vehicle Wheeled (HLVW) fleet upgrade program, The Department of National Defence contracted Dymech to develop solutions, prove the solutions with prototypes, and produce drawings and modification instructions for various upgrade requirements on the HLVW Potable Water Truck.

The fleet upgrades included: replacement of the manual operator platform with a hydraulically controlled platform; installation of a hydraulic tank heater; replacement of the on board water heater; installation of a water tank temperature sensor with remote display inside the truck cab; and provision of additional shelving for the operator’s equipment.
